On Tuesday, 8th February 2022, the Spiritual Development in Schools team delivered training about ‘What are Prayer Spaces and Values’ with a group of forty educators from St Thomas More College Żejtun Primary B.

During the first two weeks of Advent, Fr Reuben Micallef parish priest of Pembroke parish met with children in all kinder, early and primary classes attending St Clare College Pembroke Primary School. During his interaction with different class years, the children could follow age-appropriate action songs, activities and resources found on sds.mt website…

Various classes in different primary State schools from all colleges had the opportunity to participate in special assemblies. During these special assemblies, students prepared and presented PowerPoint presentations to their peers, participated in hands-on activities, did action songs, created artwork and involved themselves in other spiritual and educational activities.

On the 3rd of November 2021, the National Literacy Agency in collaboration with Prayer Spaces within the Spiritual Development in Schools organised an online Family Writing Activity entitled ‘Together We Win/Nirbħu Lkoll Flimkien’. This activity was sponsored by Merlin Publishers.

ŻAK Mosta

The 2002-2003 members of ŻAK Mosta, reflected on the feast of All Saints’ Day using pumpkins. Through the pumpkin activity, they prayed to God to help them get closer to Him.

As they carved the top part of the pumpkin, they asked God to help them open their minds to learn beautiful things about Him. As they removed the fillings, they asked God to help them remove from them all their wrongdoings and asked for forgiveness…
