Instructions

Do you ever happen to be doing something and all of a sudden, you feel hungry? Moreover, you know that in the kitchen there is something good to eat but the kitchen door is closed. What would you do? Do you open the door or you leave it closed?

In John 10: 1-10, Jesus compares himself to the door or gate of the sheep pen. Just as the sheep must pass through the door to enter the pen, we too have to go through Jesus to see God our Father.

  • Take a sheep template and write your name on it.
  • Then take a door template and on it write Jesus is the door leading me to God.
  • Now open the door with your hand, pass the sheep through it, and as you do so, pray so that you will always leave the door open which is representing Jesus, so that He can help you to be a loving and caring person and to protect you from doing bad things.
  • Then you can stick both the door and the sheep onto a cardboard paper and place it near the kitchen door to remember that you want to accept Jesus and love others just the way he loves us.
