In preparation for the New Year 2020 a member of Missio Malta, Mrs Nancy Camilleri was invited by teacher Martin Azzopardi sdc to hold Prayer Spaces with 14 and 15-year-old students at St Margaret College Secondary School, Verdala, Cospicua. Every year, on the last Friday before Christmas, the Our Lady Immaculate Oratory in Tower Road, Mosta, organises a special activity for its youth. This year this activity comprised five prayer stations for a group of twenty-five young women. The stations were accompanied by means of a powerpoint presentation instead of the usual individual prayer instruction cards. On the 11th December 2019, a Christmas Solemn Mass was celebrated at St Theresa College Secondary School Mrieħel. “I am the light that has come into the world so that everyone who believes in me will not live in the dark!”

The 16th December marked the week dedicated to Christmas activities. A very interesting and varied programme of activities was prepared by the SLT. The first activity was a Christmas for all students taking Religion. Special thanks to Fr Alfred and all the religion and Music departments for coordinating this event.
