Jesus is our role model for peace. From his birth, and throughout his life, He lived, shared, and preached about peace.
In the nowadays world there are numerous people who with their actions are models of peace among which Muhammad Ali was a boxer and refused to serve in the US military during the Vietnam war. He was arrested, stripped of his title as a professional boxer, and fined $10,000. Through his courageous action, he believed that peace is the only way that makes human beings stronger. People who have responsibilities and carry them out dutifully and with the right intent are all models of peace.

Dear God, At Christmas time, we all wish for peace in the world.
Help us to bring love where there is hatred; to base our opinion of others on their character, words and actions, not on appearance.
To appreciate the good qualities of different people and celebrate the beauty of different cultures and faiths.
Help us, oh God, to treat migrants and refugees with justice and respect. Please help us to bring peace to the world, Amen.
