St Ignatius College Middle School, Ħandaq, celebrated its 10th anniversary enthusiastically on the 27th of February 2023. The celebration was a testament to the school’s spirit and a reflection of the collective commitment to excellence of the entire educational community. It included several celebrations, including the pastoral visit and celebration of Holy Mass by H.E. Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna, the school community and Fr Sergio Fenech, the school religious counsellor and Coordinator for Religious Counsellors Fr Reuben Gauci. The mass was also concelebrated by the religious counsellors who work in the St Ignatius College‘s schools Luqa, Qormi, Siġġiewi and Żebbuġ and past religious counsellors. The school choir animated a wonderful celebration, and various students and staff participated in the prayers.

Over the past decade, the school has established itself as a beacon of academic excellence, where students thrive and grow holistically, and their well-being is the top priority. The school’s holistic approach to learning has allowed students to develop academically, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

The school’s success is due to the hard work and dedication of the Senior Leadership Team, teachers, Learning Support Educators, school technicians, religious counsellors, secretariat and ancillary staff, who have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the school’s mission and vision. These dedicated individuals have worked tirelessly to provide an enriching, nurturing environment that fosters learning, growth, and development.

The school’s 10th-anniversary celebration was a great success, and it provided an opportunity to reflect on the journey so far and celebrate the achievements of the entire educational community. St Ignatius College Middle School, Ħandaq, is a proud family. As the school looks ahead to the next decade, it does so with confidence, knowing it has the support of a dedicated community committed to its success.
