Students letting go of worries at SMC Secondary School, Verdala

In preparation for the New Year 2020 a member of Missio Malta, Mrs Nancy Camilleri was invited by teacher Martin Azzopardi sdc to hold Prayer Spaces with 14 and 15-year-old students at St Margaret College Secondary School, Verdala, Cospicua. Christmas Mass celebrations for students and educators organised during the month of December 2019

On the 11th December 2019, a Christmas Solemn Mass was celebrated at St Theresa College Secondary School Mrieħel. “I am the light that has come into the world so that everyone who believes in me will not live in the dark!”

Għall-Milied ta’ din is-sena l-skola St Michael School, St Venera, ippreparat id-dramm ‘Sliem fuq l-Art – L-Istorja ta’ Ġużeppi’. Dramm oriġinali miktub mis-Sur Darrel Pace, għalliem tal-Malti f’din l-iskola u ddireġut mis-Sur Tonio Callus, l-għalliem tad-Drama. Il-kast kien iffurmat minn madwar 30 student u membru tal-istaff. Bible sharing by older pulpils to the younger ones

Read more »Older pupils at Theresa Nuzzo School Marsa shared Bible stories with the younger pupils. This reading activity was made possible after the school bought Bible comic storybooks for every class. The teacher then gave a Bible storybook to one pupil at a time, took it home and read it along with his/her family.  On returning to school he/she shared with other pupils the story and something that he/she liked about the story…

St Nicholas – the generous bishop celebrated in schools to help students become more faithful disciples of Jesus

On the 6th of December 2019, students attending St Nicholas College Primary Rabat and other students from the same college celebrated St Nicholas Day on the feast of the patron Saint their College.

Workshop in preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation at San Anton School.

Grade 9 students attending San Anton School, l/o Żebbiegħ, participated in a workshop at school, in preparation for their Confirmation ceremony. The session was organised by Ms Pauline Pace and led by members of Y4J youth community. At the end of the activity, Mass was also celebrated by the school’s spiritual director Dun Gorg Dalli.    

Later on, Ms Pauline prepared candles marked with the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit and nine fruits of the Spirit at the Divine Mercy Sanctuary, in San Pawl tat-Targa for the Confirmation Ceremony… Read more »

The Crowning of Our Lady and other Marian celebrations and pilgrimages.

The Crowning of Our Lady at the Laura Vicuna School, Gozo  All students attending Laura Vicuna School, Gozo paid homage to Mary in the month of the holy rosary and the feast of Mary Help of Christians. After the ceremony, a poem was recited by one of the students.
