Dear friends,
It has been a busy month for Prayer Spaces in Schools, and a sober few weeks for Ukraine. We invite you to join us in praying for the people, the leaders and for peace in the coming weeks.
New Prayer Activities for Ukraine
We have developed a series of 6 prayer activities to help children and young people pray for the crisis that is currently unfolding in Ukraine. These activities can be used at home, in your families, or in youth groups and schools. You can view and download these resources here.
The Prayer Spaces Sessions #13: Me and Myself
It’s not too late to register for the next instalment of The Prayer Spaces Sessions which will be running this coming Monday 7th of March at 7:30pm. We will be talking about how prayer spaces can help pupils to develop a healthy sense of identity and how we can we support pupils who get upset in a prayer space. Some of the evening will also be devoted to discussing how we can help children and young people process their anxiety and handle their feelings about the current crisis unfolding in Ukraine. The Session will include some delivered content, interviews with prayer space practitioners and time to share our experiences and knowledge in breakout groups. We really hope that you can join us. Entry is free, but you will need to register here.
Around the World
Did you know that prayer spaces have been hosted in schools in more than thirty nations already? One of our aims is to find great leaders who can develop Prayer Spaces in Schools in each nation. Right now, we have leaders in GB, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, Malta and Austria… with Switzerland, Australia and the USA coming soon. Please pray that we find the right leaders. May the God of hope be with you today and always.
