A walk-through Prayer Spaces experience in the Nativity Village in Gozo

A unique family writing activity was organised on the 15th December 2018 in Bethlehem Għajnsielem, Gozo by the National Literacy Agency of the Ministry for Education and Employment in collaboration with Prayer Spaces in Schools-Malta and sponsored by Merlin Publishers. This was a unique opportunity for parents/caregivers to participate in an educational experience related to creative reflection and hands-on prayer with their children.

As we walked around the life-size crib constructed on 20,000 square metre of fields in a stretch of land known as Ta’ Passi, two writing tutors led groups of participants to reflect and write prayers on a prepared booklet with reflective instructions in both English and Maltese versions… Read more »

Prayer Spaces in Church Schools during Lent

PRAYER SPACES have become an annual activity that is organized during lent in a number of Church Schools. In some cases, they complement the spiritual exercises by adopting the chosen theme for the year. In other cases, they focus on themes that are more suited for this liturgical time.

Missionary Animation themed Prayer Spaces at the Archbishop’s Seminary

Our first mission Prayer Spaces were held at the Seminary on the 12th February 2018.  The children were focused on reading the information about the different continents and the different needs of the children in various countries, as they walked the footsteps through the different continents, they learned the different colours for every continent.  On Sunday, 21st November 2017 the Archbishop of Malta, Mons. Charles J. Scicluna paid an official visit to St Margaret College Senior Secondary School Verdala, Cospicua as part of his pastoral visit programme to Cospicua.
