Instructions
Remember when you enjoyed a bicycle ride and how the spokes of the wheel moved together. The axle makes this motion possible, holding everything in place and allowing the wheel to turn smoothly. Between the 18th and the 25th of January, Christians from different denominations pray for unity between them. Just as the axle unites the spokes, Christ unites Christians, guiding them toward unity.
- Ride your bicycle or observe the wheel as it turns while reflecting on what you’ve read about.
- On plain paper, draw a wheel (a large circle with a smaller circle inside and lines connecting both circles)
- On the axle, write ‘Jesus’; between the spokes, write about what brings unity, love and kindness.
- Ride your bike again or observe the wheel turning. Thank God for helping you and others bring unity between people and move forward.
