Prayer Spaces Session for STC primary school, Birkirkara – 2024

The SDS team will set up and animate prayer spaces for the students at the St Theresa College, Birkirkara Primary School. The National Literacy Agency supported this Prayer Space session.

The prayer activities that were set up included:

Bow Wow Snuggly Tom During this prayer space one is invited to think about animals that are God’s creation too and to reflect about the human being ‘s stewardship to take care of all creation.	Blind Folded (Part of the Five Senses) During this prayer space one is asked to believe and trust God even without seeing Him.	Wand of Love In this prayer space one can reflect on the love he/she shows to others and ask for forgivness for when one fails to love others unconditionally.
Pray for the World This prayer space encourages one to look at the world map and think of family and friends living away and pray for them and their countries.	Football Fortitude In this prayer space we reflect about fortitude which is an an inner strength God gives us to face the difficulties of life with hope and courage.	Wishing Candles In this prayer space one is invited to ponder upon one’s wishes in life are granted only according to the will of God, and it’s an asset for one’s own good.
Thankful Ribbons In this prayer space, one is to think of something one is grateful for and write it on the ribbon.	Jumping for Joy Easter brings joy so in this prayer space one thinks of someone or something that brings joy and makes you happy.	Educator Gratitude Students think about good characteristics of their educators and thank God for them.
Be Still: Prayer Word During this time one is inivted to be still and meditate on ma-ra-na-ta.
