Prayer Spaces Session for SC Primary School, St Julians – 2024

The SDS team set up and animated prayer spaces for the students at St Clare College, St Julians Primary School. The National Literacy Agency supported these prayer spaces sessions.

The prayer activities that were set up included:

Fishers Of People In this prayer space one will take the time to think of others whom he/she may lead closer to God and on how he/she can do this in his/her every day life and thus answer to the call of Jesus to follow Him and become Fishers of People.	Pray for the World This prayer space encourages one to look at the world map and think of family and friends living away and pray for them and their countries.	Unity Tree During this prayer space one is encouraged to think about the school community he belongs to.
Lent: Sorry Sand In this prayer space one will take time to think that God will forgive us if we ask for forgiveness and reflect on the forgiveness we were granted through the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus.	Bottle of Tears This prayer space invites us to reflect about what makes us sad in life and to give our sadness to God.	Pipe Cleaner People This prayer space encourages one to think about, and if they want to, pray for someone special in thier lives in a fun and creative way by making a ‘pipe cleaner model’.
Be Still This is a place to be still. To be at peace. There is no need to talk, no need to do anything.	Mobile Call This prayer space motivtes one to call a family member or friend and check up on them, and then reflect if they had to call God, how would the conversation look.	Saving Life In this prayer space, one reflects on saving lives by avoiding plastic and prays for courage to make choices in favour of life.
