MORE: A Journey Beyond the Classroom
For many Year 11 students, the final months of secondary school bring a mix of emotions—anticipation, uncertainty, and excitement for what lies ahead. The MORE programme was designed to help students navigate this transition with a more profound sense of purpose, exploring their future careers or studies and the spiritual dimension of life.
Throughout the session, students engaged in a structured yet reflective journey, beginning with +LOVE, which invited them to consider how love—both given and received—shapes their aspirations and relationships. Small group discussions encouraged them to share personal insights, fostering a sense of belonging beyond the school gates.
The second session, +POWER, focused on the potential within each student. It was a call to recognize their strengths, resilience, and ability to shape their future with confidence. After a short break, students were guided into a moment of stillness and meditation, allowing them to pause amidst the noise of daily life and find inner clarity.
The final session, +YOU, centred on self-discovery and purpose, leading into a Prayer Spaces experience. This interactive time encouraged students to reflect on their journey and connect with life’s more profound questions.
Each day at St Clare College, Secondary School in Pembroke concluded with an evaluation moment, capturing the students’ thoughts and feelings. MORE was not just a programme but an invitation to embrace life with expectation, meaning, and faith—beyond the classroom and into the future.
