The National Literacy Agency, in collaboration with Spiritual Development in Schools, is organising sessions of storytelling, creative writing and reflection in a new programme entitled ‘With Reading and Writing I find a Beloved Space’ for children aged 8 to 10 years.

These sessions of animated reading in Maltese and English from the newly published book ‘Spazju għal Qalbi – Beloved Space’ by author Silvana Cardona will take place in various localities in Malta and Gozo.

These sessions are an excellent opportunity for children to train in reading and creative writing through imaginative and reflective activities which help children to pray creatively.

Throughout the programme, children will be provided with resources in Maltese and English to help them express themselves.

The animation of the first story with the name ‘My Grandfather’s Luzzu’ was organised on 21st June 2023 in the fishermen’s village – Marsaxlokk.

L-Aġenzija Nazzjonali tal-Litteriżmu, bil-kollaborazzjoni ta’ Spiritual Development in Schools, qed jorganizzaw sessjonijiet ta’ programm ta’ qari animat, kitba u riflessjoni kreattiva jismu ‘Bil-Qari u l-Kitba Nsib Spazju għal Qalbi’ għal tfal minn 8 sa 10 snin.

Dawn is-sessjonijiet ta’ qari animat bil-Malti u bl-Ingliż mill-ktieb ippubblikat bl-isem ‘Spazju għal Qalbi – Beloved Space’ tal-awtriċi Silvana Cardona, ser isiru fi spazji barra f’diversi lokalitajiet f’Malta u Għawdex.

Dawn l-istejjer jistgħu jservu ta’ opportunità biex it-tfal jitħarrġu fil-qari, fil-kitba kreattiva kif ukoll f’attivitajiet immaġinattivi u riflessivi ta’ talb.

Waqt kull sessjoni ta’ qari, it-tfal ser jingħataw riżorsi bil-Malti u l-Ingliż biex jesprimu ruħhom.
L-ewwel storja bl-isem ‘Il-Luzzu tan-Nannu’ ġiet organizzata nhar il-21 ta’ Ġunju 2023 fil-villaġġ tas-sajjieda, Marsaxlokk.

This event is part of the With Reading and Writing, I find a Beloved Space programme.
