REFLECTION

Reconciliation is God’s gift to us so that whenever we repent from and confess our sins they are forgiven through the priest’s absolution. It is a holy moment in which we place ourselves in the presence of God and honestly acknowledge our shortcomings in deeds and in words, including our sins of omissions. With absolution, we are reconciled to God and the Church.

ACTIVITY

When was your last confession? In a moment of prayer, make a good examination of conscience as you ask God to show you anything He may want you to confess this very week.

Dear God, as I read the lyrics and sing ‘Washed Away’ I thank you for your forgiveness.
