Joy

You have filled my heart with greater joy. (Psalm 4:7)

ACTIVITY

Allow 10 minutes minimum for this activity: Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and realise you are breathing, you are alive, and that life is a gift from God. At this moment open your hands. Consider that your open hands represent your opening heart to God as you pray the following prayer.

PRAYER

Dear God, you promise us that our joy would be complete as long that we entrust ourselves to your care. As I open my hands, I allow you to lift any concerns that are weighing me down (name them). Dear Jesus, knowing that nothing can separate me from your love, please fill me with your Joy and with your Spirit.
