Prayer Spaces were setup for students

Maltese & English

The SDS team set up and animated prayer spaces for students to reconnect with God, themselves and others. The National Literacy Agency supported this Prayer Space session.

The prayer activities that were set up included:

Bus Blessings

During this prayer activity, the participant can appreciate the relationships with their families and friends and be grateful to God and for them.

Empty Plate

Apart from praying for world leaders to be given wisdom and courage to lead fairly, this prayer space also helps one to reflect on living without food due to injustice and economic-greed.

Building Blocks

In this prayer space one is asked to relfect on one’s daily actions and how such actions are helping to build a better world.

Cardboard Home

During this time one is given time to reflect and pray for people who suffer poverty and are homeless.

Five Fingers of Prayer

In this prayer space, one explores the different ways how to pray with the help of one’s hand.

Be Still

This is a place to be still. To be at peace. There is no need to talk, no need to do anything.

Appreciating Nature

During this prayer space, one shows gratitude to God for what nature offers.
