During this time one is given time to reflect and pray for people who suffer poverty and are homeless.
Equipment: Bed sheets, pillows, beanbag, lots of large cardboard boxes (large enough for students to crawl inside), pens, laminated photographs/pictures of street children and homeless people. Optional: Laminated stories about street children, bits of (clean) 'rubbish'.
Stop and take time to think of the homeless. Even though they live in rich countries, they miss having a shelter and a bed to rest on.
- Crawl inside the cardboard box.
- On the paper provided write a prayer for children, young people and for all who live in poverty worldwide.
