“It-tbissima fuq wiċċ it-tfal tixhed li ħadu gost u bqajt mistagħġba kemm kitbu talb sabiħ” – SkolaSajf 2019

Ferħ u tbissima fuq wiċċ it-tfal!

Nhar id-19 t’Awwissu 2019 ġew ippreparati u animati diversi prayer spaces mibnija fuq l-Għanja tal-Ħlejjaq, lit-tfal tal-klassijiet kollha li jattendu Skolasajf f’Gozo College Sannat Primary and Special Unit.

Hekk kif bdejna nilqgħu lit-tfal, xi wħud għarfuna mis-sena preċedenti u kienu entużjasti biex jibdew jagħmlu l-eżerċizzji ppreparati għalihom fuq kull station flimkien ma’ sħabhom ġodda ta’ din is-sena.

Il-ġnien sabiħ ta’ din l-skola offra spazju tajjeb biex it-tfal ikunu jistgħu jiskopru x’kien hemm lest għalihom f’kull rokna tal-ġnien armata b’temi bi stations differenti fuq xiex setgħu jirrifflettu u jitolbu…

“Fis-silenzju tkellimt m’Alla dwar dawk l-affarijiet li normalment inżommhom f’qalbi.” “Għoġbitni l-katina tat-talb għax għidt grazzi lill-ħabib tiegħi.” “Jien is-soltu qatt ma nkun kwiet imma llum irnexxieli noqgħod kwiet. Verament kelli bżonn noqgħod għall-kwiet fis-silenzju. Id-dinja storbjuża wisq!” “Il-favorita tiegħi kienet tal-lapes għax għaraft kif bħal-lapes jien nista’ nikteb xi ħaġa sabiħa b’ħajti billi nkun lapes ċkejken f’idejn Alla.” Matul diversi ġranet fix-xahar t’Awwissu 2019, l-iSpiritual Development Unit flimkien mat-tim ta’ Prayer Spaces in Schools-Malta, ipprepara u anima diversi spazji ta’ talb f’postijiet differenti f’Malta u Għawdex… Read more »

Altar boys from Mtarfa Parish reflected and prayed through prayer spaces

A group of altar boys from Mtarfa Parish experienced moments of prayer, reflection and adoration during a seminar held at Dar tat-Talb, Lunzjata. The boys prayed and showed solidarity for people and countries in the world. They entrusted their hopes and dreams to God and felt a sense of relief when they reflected on the Forgiveness Stones prayer space. Prayer Spaces f’Kerċem Għawdex għat-tfal ta’ Skolasajf 2019

Kienu ġranet ta’ ferħ, barka u grazzja! L-esperjenza ta’ Prayer Spaces kompliet f’Għawdex ukoll meta nhar it-Tnejn 12 u t-Tlieta 13 t’Awwissu, ġew ippreparati diversi prayer spaces mibnija fuq il-Kantiku tal-Ħlejjaq ta’ San Franġisk fil-Kappella u l-Wied tal-Lunzjata ġewwa Kerċem. Tfal miċ-Ċentri ta’ Kerċem, Xagħra, Għajnsielem u x-Xewkija attendew. Dawn huma x’uħud mit-talb li kitbu t-tfal: “Ġesù għin lin-nanna tiegħi.”

“Nixtieq nitlob għall-kuġina tiegħi li għandha s-sogħla.”

“Nixtieq nitlob għal min m’għandux dar u għal min m’għandux mummy u
daddy.”

“Nitlob għal dawk in-nies li qegħdin fil-missjoni.”

“Ġesù għin il-babies li qegħdin l-isptar.”

“Għaz-ziju tiegħi biex isib xogħol.”

“Ġesù nitolbok biex iżżomm għajnejk fuq missieri ħalli jfieq.”

“Għall-morda fl-isptar li ma jmur ħadd ħdejhom.”

“Ġesù, aħfirli ta’ meta armejt l-ikel u ma kiltux.”

“Papà tiegħi, nixtieq tfieq.”

Prayer Spaces at Immaculate Conception Secondary School

The Crowning of Our Lady at the Laura Vicuna School, Gozo All students attending Laura Vicuna School, Gozo paid homage to Mary in the month of the holy rosary and the feast of Mary Help of Christians. After the ceremony, a poem was recited by one of the students.

Evaluating scholastic year 2018-19 with Religious Counsellors

On Thursday, 27th June 2019, a group of Religious Counsellors serving in the state schools came together at the Archbishop’s Seminary, Tal-Virtu`Rabat, to share about their pastoral work being done in these schools. They shared about the many good practices they encounter with students and educators, the challenges and difficulties that crop up occasionally, and new opportunities for the coming academic year.

Classes adopt a child each to collect money for their education

Sr Antonia Bugeja Head of School at Theresa Nuzzo School Marsa, invited classes from Grade 1 to Grade 6 to adopt a child from orphanages abroad and run by the congregation of the Daughters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The money collected will be donated to them to provide for every child’s education.
