Instructions

The spirals we find in Maltese Megalithic Temples make us think about life’s journey from birth to death and beyond to eternal life. We never stop loving our loved ones who have died because we believe that our soul never dies and will live forever with God and with the people we love.

  • Look at the photograph of a beloved family member or friend who has died. If you do not have a photo, draw a picture of him/her.
  • Think about your feelings when you remember this person/s. Stretch the spiral (optional).
  • Draw a spiral (or use the handout)and write the name of the person/s you have lost.
  • Speak to God about this person/s, the memories you have and about how you feel about death and eternal life.
