During this prayer space one becomes aware that one forms part of God’s big family and is invited to reflect on oneself as part of this family.
Equipment: tree, hand templates, markers
Christians believe that God made everyone to be part of God’s family. Every nationality, every shape and colour, we belong together, and so we should care for one another.
- If you want to, you can write your first-name and maybe draw something about yourself onto one of the hand shapes, and then fix it onto the family tree.
- Look at the other names hanging on the tree. What does it mean that these people are all your family?
