Instructions

This is the most special place – some might call it “Holy.”  For hundreds of years, people have discovered that being peaceful enables them to be more aware of God.

  • Enter the camp, sit down and close your eyes for a little while.
  • This is a place to be still. To be at peace.
  • There is no need to talk, no need to do anything.
  • Just “be.”

Storytelling

You can animate these stories that lead to the Be Still Prayer activity:

After camping for a week

The story is about a boy who went camping with his scouts’ friends at Għajn Tuffieħa. Amongst the camps that were set up, there was a camp with cushions inside it so anyone who wanted could enter and appreciated moments in silence. The boy recounts how much he felt at peace in the ‘Be Still’ camp.
