Reflection

Everyone knows that there are magic words. Do you know which are they? (Children will mention Please, Sorry, and Thank You.) Yes, these are the magic words. Today we shall be focusing on the word Sorry. It means that when we use it, we realize that we have done something wrong and that we are making a promise not to repeat this bad thing again.

Song

Prayer

Dear God, help us to understand that we cannot be good all the time, but to realize when we are wrong, and will not be afraid to use the word Sorry. Amen.

Reflection

God wants to forgive our sins. Every time we carry out wrong things, we hurt our friendship with God, with others, and with ourselves. Let us think of something we would like to be sorry for and offer it to God.

A minute in silence.

Now let us sing a song together:

Song

Prayer

Dear Lord, help me to learn to be sorry for my bad actions so that I will be friends again with you and with the others. Amen.
