Come on children, let us all take care of our environment by keeping it clean and by throwing rubbish away appropriately; if we have a plant, we must water it so it will grow; we must eat healthy food, and look after each other.

Dear God, you want us to take care of our fields and countryside; take care of the farmers and all the gardeners who looks after the gardens. Amen.

Every one of us is part of the environment. Our world, yours and mine, is like our sister whom we live with and our mother who embraces us. So, it is very important that we take care of it so that we can live a healthy life by eating fruit and vegetables and drinking water. We do our best to make good use of the natural resources around us to reduce the damage done to our planet by people who are irresponsible.

Human beings have been given the responsibility to take care of our planet. Taking care of the planet does not mean that we rule it as we want to but that we do what is right and good for the benefit of everyone. The environment consists of all living things around us, from man, trees, flowers, plants and water to the earthworm. So, we need to take care of every creature because they are part of our lives. Just as God is always with us, we too must be present for what is needed in all created things surrounding us.

In which ways are humans being selfish and irresponsible in their care of our environment? The environment consists of all living things around us, from man, trees, flowers, plants and water to the earthworm. So, we need to take care of every creature because they are part of our lives. Everyone is being affected by what is happening to our planet such as climate change and so it is necessary that everyone contributes and takes care of the earth which is our home.
Prayer
Oh God, creator of the universe, help us to take care of all the creatures in our planet with the same spirit that you have created the earth. Remind us that we are always responsible for our earth. Amen.
