The church is not the building, but us. The first Christians used to meet to pray and share meals together, while enjoying each other’s company and helping each other out. We should be more like them – pray together, share together, help each other, and let the holy spirit speak through our actions.
Prayer
Dear Holy Spirit, help us to be Christians who are welcoming, who respect everyone and are a good example of the Church. Amen

Introduction
Sunday marks the Church’s birth, Pentecoste, the day the apostles started preaching and started the Church. The Church is not the mason building we see dotted around on the island, but we are the Church, the people are the building blocks of the church, and when we do the confirmation we are securing our place through the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is every Christian’s power. Through Him, we are empowered and strengthened to be an example of love and respect. Although invisible, his power is immense. We need to be temples where the Holy Spirit can live and work through us.
Prayer
Dear Holy Spirit, make us temples where you can live and work, guide us to be examples that the church is not stone, but us, the Church is alive. Amen
