Prayer unites us as human beings. Prayer with a common aim eliminates the divisions which exist between religions, nationalities, gender, race, religion or ethnicity. When we pray together we support each other. Let us pray that we may love, care, forgive and respect each other; that we will forget our differences so we will all benefit from harmony in a better world. Together we can face and overcome the threats of pollution, global warming, wars, suffering, poverty and injustice. Together we can make the world a better place to live in.
