Day 3-30/11/21

Today we celebrate the feast of St Andrew. Andrew the Apostle of Jesus, says that when you love someone, you take them into your heart, and that is surely why it hurts so much when we lose someone we love because we lose a part of ourselves.

BIBLE VERSE

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18)

ACTIVITY

Look at the big heart, think of people you love and say a thank you prayer for them. Look at the small heart, think of the loss of a dear person to you and say a prayer for his or her soul.

PRAYER

Dear God, help us to imitate St Andrew in spreading the love no matter where we are and to ease the pain and loss of our dear departed ones.
