Introduction

This week we are celebrating social justice week. It is a week that reminds us to be fair with everyone and appreciate the differences we have between us and not use them to be unfair between each other. This clip will explain more.

Reflective Thought

How would you feel if people do not include you everywhere you went?
Discrimination is not treating others fairly and nicely. Let us remember that although everyone is different, everyone is precious and important, and we should respect and love him/her.

Prayer

Dear God, help us to appreciate the differences between us and to be respectful and kind to everyone. Amen.

Introduction

This week is social justice week. During this week we can become more aware that everyone should be treated fairly and respected no matter where they come from. Let us watch this clip together and discuss further.

Watch

How does the clip make you feel? What do you think?

Reflective Thought

In this clip we saw two people of different views coming together to achieve a goal – building stools and a bar, they sat and discussed. They did not persuade each other but accepted one another with their differences. Why do not we try to become more accepting of those who are or think differently of us?

Prayer

Dear God, may we always remember that each human being is made in your image. Help us to overlook any differences there is and respect one another beyond any titles society gives. Amen.
