Respect Towards All Vocations

The SLT or any educator who is conducting the assembly will address the students positively saying good morning to all. One can start this assembly with the sign of the cross:  “In the name of the Father, and of the son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen”

Introduction

Sunday 25th was the World Day of prayer for vocations. As a school we decided to dedicate this assembly to pray for vocations and to raise awareness that we should respect all of those who are giving us a service.

Reflective Thought

We are all entrusted with a vocation. It is a call to make use of our strengths and gifts to make the world a better place through service, creativity, and leadership. It is a call to do good in the world. It is our duty to show respect towards all who are doing their best to be of service in God’s World. It could vary from a religious profession to being married, staying single, serving as a teacher, researcher, leader or a front liner. It is our duty to show respect towards all who are doing their best to be of service in God’s World. This week happens also to be the World Immunization Week.

Prayer

Dear God, we pray you give us the courage to seek and work to fulfill our vocation. We pray for more religious vocations. May we always respect all vocations in particular those involved with the immunization process against COVID-19. Amen
