When we were little children, we were asked, “How much do you love mummy or daddy?” and we would often say, “This much!” while opening our arms wide. The Bible reminds us that God’s love is even greater—it reaches beyond the clouds and beyond (Psalm 36).

  • Lie down on a mat and spend 2 minutes quietly observing the clouds above.
  • How far up do you think your eyes can reach? Keep in mind that God’s love is even greater and higher.
  • As you look up, open your hands wide as a sign of your love back to God.

Meta konna tfal żgħar, kienu jistaqsuna: “Kemm tħobb lil mama’ jew lil papa’?” u ħafna drabi konna ngħidu, “daqshekk,” waqt li niftħu idejna beraħ. Il-Bibbja tfakkarna li l-imħabba ta’ Alla hija ħafna akbar—tasal sas-smewwiet, sas-sħab u aktar ’il fuq (Salm 36).

  • Intefa’ mal-art u oqgħod 2 minuti fil-kwiet tħares lejn is-sema u s-sħab.
  • Aħseb kemm jistgħu jaslu ’l bogħod għajnejk—u ftakar li l-imħabba ta’ Alla hi akbar minn hekk.
  • Waqt li tħares ’il fuq, iftaħ idejk beraħ bħala sinjal tal-imħabba tiegħek lura lejn Alla.
