In this prayer space one will be invited to remind oneself that the God in the cradle is a merciful God to which one can express a prayer for forgiveness using the medium of sand.

Equipment: Kinetic Sand or Samolina (Priest, if penitential service takes place)

Instructions

Jesus was born in a manger because the innkeepers turned Mary and Joseph away.  Sometimes we do and say unkind things. Have you done anything that you need to say sorry for?

  • Take some time to think about what you want to say sorry for.
  • Write the letter S in the sand and ask Jesus to forgive you.
  • If you want to you can plan to go for confession.
