Introduction
This year during some of the assemblies we will be talking about respect. Here are some friends who are going to tell us something about respect.
Watch
Ask kids to stop for a few seconds to think about whether they respect others or not.
Reflective Thought
This year we are also to show respect by obeying the new rules in our schools like keeping distance and following the teacher’s instructions of when we need to put on the masks for our safety and that of others. This is not easy to do, so this morning we are going to pray together that we will never forget how important it is to respect one another because when we show respect we are loving each other.
Prayer
Dear God, we thank you for this day. We thank you because for you we are all special. We ask you today to help us treat one another with respect.
