Year 4 to Year 6 (8-10 years old)

During sessions of Soul Speak, the children are given the opportunity to train in the Writing Process, through imaginative and reflective activities that encourage them to pray creatively.

L-Aġenzija Nazzjonali tal-Litteriżmu, bil-kollaborazzjoni ta’ Spiritual Development in Schools organizzat erba’ sessjonijiet ta’ programm ta’ kitba, qari u riflessioni jismu ‘Titkellem Ruħna’ (Soul Speak) għal tfal mir-4 sena sas-6 sena tal-iskola primarja (minn 8 sa 10 snin).

Dawn is-sessjonijiet servew ta’ opportunità tad-deheb biex it-tfal jitħarrġu fit-proċess tal-kitba kif ukoll f’attivitajiet immaġinattivi u riflessivi ta’ talb. Tul dawn is-sessionijiet it-tfal ingħataw riżorsi kemm bil-Malti kif ukoll bl-lngliż biex jesprimu ruħhom bil-lingwa li jixtiequ.

L-aħħar sessjoni tal-programm kienet esebizzjoni tax-xogħlijiet u attività ta’ ċelebrazzjoni fejn ingħataw ċertifikat lil min ikun attenda u pparteċipa fl-erba’ sessjonijiet.

The National Literacy Agency, in collaboration with Spiritual Development in Schools, organised four sessions of a writing, reading and reflection programme called Soul Speak for children in Years 4 to 6 of primary school, aged 8 to 10.

These sessions served as a golden opportunity for children to be trained in the writing process as well as in imaginative and reflective prayer activities. During these sessions, children were provided with resources in both Maltese and English to express themselves in the language of their choice. Participating children needed to be able to speak and write in Maltese and English at an age-appropriate level.

At the end of the programme, an exhibition of the children’s work was organised, along with a celebratory activity in which certificates were awarded to those who participated in all four sessions.
