A session for all school educators

On the occasion of the end of scholastic year 2025/26, the SDS team was invited to set up and host Prayer Spaces for 35 educators at St Joseph Mater Boni Consilii School. With an apt opportunity to look back with gratitude and forward with hope, educators had time to reconnect with themselves and their relationships with others, with the “world”, and with God.

The session started with an invitation to “take a breath”, as educators paused for some time to find courageous ways of being grounded in the present moment — an openness to start praying from the heart. For this, participants could proceed to discover a series of prayer activities.

The seminar ended with a processing session aimed at helping participants reflect on the importance of renewed relationships, their personal spiritual well-being, and how these can be incorporated practically into educators’ personal and professional lives.

The National Literacy Agency supported this Prayer Space session.
