REFLECTION

St Nicholas fed the hungry, brought hope to the imprisoned, gave comfort to the lost and taught the truth to all.

BIBLE VERSE

We must work hard to help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive. (Acts 20:35)

ACTIVITY

Think of a lonely, a sick or a poor person and instead of buying him /her a gift, make the gift yourself and give them also your presence and your time. If you wish, you may also donate the money to him/her or to someone else in need.

PRAYER

Dear God, help me to spend less on gifts and give more of my presence to people
