REFLECTION

St Nicholas fed the hungry, brought hope to the imprisoned, gave comfort to the lost, and taught the truth to all. St Nicholas teaches us to be generous, to help the poor, and to defend children and other people who are in need.

ACTIVITY

Think of a lonely, sick, or poor person and instead of buying him /her a gift, make the gift yourself and give them also your presence and your time. If you wish, you may also donate the money to him/her or to someone else in need.

PRAYER

Dear God, help me to spend less on gifts and give more of my presence to people.
