Today is the feast day of St Lucy. Lucy was a young girl and a friend of Jesus. The name Lucy means light. Lucy used to serve the persecuted Christians ex. the prisoners, by sharing bread and other goods which she used to carry freely in a wreath of candles at the top of her head.
