to understand why the other is anxious, uneasy, broken or lonely

and to see through the circumstances and situations.

And as I look at the other person,

let my heart be pure, humble, yet full of love and care.

Lord, I beg you to shower the other

with your grace and to be filled with your holy spirit.

It is only by your grace that the other will learn

to turn to you and to trust you

in every single thought,

spoken word and action.

Lord, as I walk with the other,

kindly give me strength to keep my focus on you,

and to keep on holding tight to you.

It is only then, that I can better walk

the uphills and downhills of life with the other.
