REFLECTION

Honesty – To be honest means to be sincere, truthful and without deceit at all times. When you are honest in every way, you can enjoy peace of mind and maintain self-respect. You build the strength of character, which allows you to be of service to God and others. You are trustworthy in the eyes of God and those around you.

ACTIVITY

Being honest often requires courage and sacrifice, especially when others try to persuade you to justify dishonest behaviour.

-Think of when you find yourself in such a situation and do not tell the truth because of your dishonest actions.

-To set things right, do your best to apologise and set things right so you will be able to regain peace of mind and heart.

PRAYER

Dear God, help me remember that the lasting peace that comes from being honest, is more valuable than the momentary relief of following the crowd.
