It helps us to investigate living things that grow, such as humans, animals, plants and trees. It also gives us a better knowledge of the stars, the sun and the moon. It helps us to appreciate the value of water which reminds us of God’s love and presence through His creation. Let us sing together:

Mankind’s study and exploration of the universe give the reason that the relationship of science and peace is a reciprocal one. Modern science arose in Europe in the 16th and 17th Centuries. This period is known as the scientific revolution. This revolution occurred in a culture of Christian faith, the faith that transmits peace, and the scientists of these centuries believed that the material world is good because God had made it good. The universe was created in order and in peace because God is personal, rational, peaceful, and faithful. We can use scientific discoveries to live more in love and honesty with each other.
