FIRST SUNDAY OF ADVENT
Bible verse: The days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when I will fulfil the good promise I made to the people of Israel. (Jer 33:14)

 

 
ACTIVITY 

Set up a reflection corner in a quiet spot and encourage your family, friends and teachers to do the same. Do you enjoy unpacking the decorations and transforming the home for Christmas?  Advent season is a time of preparation for the birth of Jesus. During the four weeks in Church, we will see a wreath with 4 coloured candles: 3 purple candles represent hope, love, and peace, while one pink represents joy. Every week we light a candle until we light a white one on Christmas day. This light represents the guidance Jesus brought to the world with His birth. You can make a simple Advent Wreath with a paper plate or green tinsel and four paper candles (3 violet, 1 pink, 1 white).

Dear God, please help every person find hope in their life and become closer to God, while spreading more peace around them.
