This August<\/strong>, the SDS team, together with dedicated volunteers, will created and animated prayer spaces for Skolasajf<\/em> students from various centres at the Chapel of Madonna tal-Providenza<\/strong>, Si\u0121\u0121iewi.A heartfelt thank you to the Foundation for Educational Services<\/strong><\/a> for the ongoing collaboration over the past years and for once again inviting us to participate this summer. The National Literacy Agency is also supporting these Prayer Spaces sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The theme of this year is \u201cReach for the Stars<\/em>\u201c<\/strong>. It aims to encourage children to dream big, try new things, and believe in their own abilities. Children have the opportunity to play, collaborate, and explore their abilities so they can shine brightly and reach their personal goals.<\/p>\n\n\n

Following an introduction in the chapel dedicated to the Annunciation of Our Lady, the children engaged in creative prayer activities inspired by this year\u2019s Skolasajf theme, \u201cReach for the Stars.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Night Sky<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 We looked up at the sky and wondered at the greatness and beauty of God\u2019s creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Star Blessings<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 We remembered the people who are stars of love, kindness and blessing in our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Big Questions<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 We paused and shared with God the big questions that are in our hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peace Plane<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 We wrote our prayers for peace and pray for a more peaceful world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pom Pom Prayers <\/strong><\/a>\u2013 We reflected on our gifts and qualities and how we can use them for the good of others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be Still<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 We paused, breathed, and appreciated the peace and stillness around us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fishing for Kindness<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 We looked for ways to show kindness and care to others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I Am Known For <\/strong><\/a>\u2013 We thought about the quality we would like to be known for and how we can use it to help those in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Received from You<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 We remembered something good we have received from someone else that continues to live on in us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forgiveness Stones<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 We allowed God to help us let go of hurt and forgive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hopes & Dreams<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 We shared with God the hopes, dreams and wishes we carry in our hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
